We’ve been Homeschooling for years!

Since 1999 our guided audio dramas have engaged, entertained and educated countless listeners – enabling students to achieve their potential through SmartPass and bringing literature alive for the masses with Shakespeare Appreciated.

Created by enthusiastic teachers and theatre-in-education specialists, supported by full casts from the Royal Shakespeare Company, National Theatre and BBC Radio repertory, our vivid audio dramas not only present the closest thing to live theatre but in seamlessly moving between drama and commentary, we explore and explain why it’s worth listening to!

With a selection of popular titles from groundbreaking writers – often chosen for literature study as their timeless stories have so much to say – we’re proud to express their words and ideas in such a powerful and accessible way, and thrilled to have received three Spoken Word Awards in the categories of Drama, Best Original Audio and Publishing Initiative; not to mention the SmartPass audio education study guide to Romeo and Juliet being voted third best audiobook by The Guardian.

But don’t take our word for it, let our audio speak for itself!

Our catalogue of guided plays, classic novels and poetry are available to buy as audio downloads and for those who savour the old school approach and look forward to parcels dropping through their letterbox, we offer a bespoke CD service to customers in the UK.

We set the stage at school too!

Having developed SmartPass for students to learn and revise in their own space and at their own pace, at the request of teachers (who so enjoy playing our dramas and commentaries in the classroom) we’ve created teacher packs, jam-packed with project ideas specifically linked to sections of the audio, in our SmartPass Teacher range, available on CD and MP3 CD-Rom to customers in the UK.
